We purchased a Rapid Refill Ink franchise back in October of 2008. The Rapid Refill Ink and toner concept was established in 2002 in Eugene, Oregon. With a focus on customer service, recycling and product quality, the business grew to over 100 stores throughout the US. It was a perfect fit for what we were looking for.
Since 2008 we have grown to be a total solution provider for our customers. We originally provided just remanufactured ink and toner products and a limited supply of OEM products. As our industry changed and our customer’s needs changed and evolved through the years, we added a multitude of other products and services to address those needs. We added both Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) printers, as well as remanufactured and recertified laser printers. We expanded our product selection to include specialized magnetic toner for check writing called MICR toner. We added specialized ribbons used in a multitude of industries and we’ve added a broader selection of OEM products.
In September of 2015 our franchisor offered us and the entire Rapid Refill franchise network an opportunity to go independent. We all chose to take advantage of that and to take our businesses into new directions and new heights. So, officially as of January 2015, Rapid Refill Ft Lauderdale has been independent. We have also decided to change our name and our focus. Officially, starting February 2016, we have decided to change our name to Rapid Printer Solutions . We will continue to provide the same Rapid services that our customers have come to expect, but with a new twist. Instead of being an ink & toner company that provides printer support, we will be a printer company that provides products, services and support for all your printing needs.
